We are thrilled to announce that on March 7th, Obstetrical and Gynecological Associates, OGA, joined forces with NorthShore Health Centers to provide an even more comprehensive healthcare experience for women in Northwest Indiana. 

OGA, led by renowned doctors Dr. Cheryl Short, Dr. Crystal Strickland, and Dr. Jennifer Murphy, has served the women of Porter County for over 50 years. Their Valparaiso office is staffed with all female doctors, nurse practitioners, and midwives living up to their mission of understanding women’s diverse medical needs.

A Comprehensive Approach to Women's Health


Under the umbrella of NorthShore Health Centers, OGA patients will have access to a broader range of services, opening the door to additional resources and a more comprehensive approach to women's health. Current OGA patients can use NorthShore services to have a more well-rounded healthcare experience. They can utilize our 340B pharmacy benefits while accessing all our specialties and expanded services like chiropractic care, podiatry, optometry, behavioral health services, and more.  

Additionally, as OGA can expand its way of providing quality care for women, NorthShore Health Centers can learn from the experiences of the OGA team and implement best practices for women across all of our communities of Porter, Lake, LaPorte, and Jasper counties. As we become one organization, we will be able to provide more extensive services to a broader range of patients, including community members who utilize Medicaid and Medicare and who currently have limited options in Porter County for their OB/GYN needs.
