Laboratory Services
NorthShore Health Centers offers onsite laboratory testing services. Services include testing for strep throat, mono, pregnancy, and glucose levels, as well as urine and blood testing.
Our laboratory is CLIA & COLA certified and is under the same quality measures as any certified laboratory. Laboratories with CLIA certification have met regulations set by their state as well as the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services before they are able to perform diagnostic testing. COLA is an independent accreditor whose services enable labs to achieve CLIA certification.
Lab services are provided by Quest Diagnostics, which allows us to provide the lowest cost testing for the uninsured by drawing the labs ourselves and sending them to Quest.
Drug Take Back Bins
In order to give our patients and public citizens a way to properly dispose of their unwanted medications and medication bottles in a safe and effective manner, a Drug Take Back Bin is located in each of NorthShore’s onsite pharmacy lobbies.
