Spencer started her nursing career at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota on a Colorectal/General Surgical unit. She moved closer to home and worked in a family practice at Riverside Medical Center for 2 years while going to nurse practitioner school.
Spencer married her husband in September of 2020. They are expecting a baby boy in July. They have a dog, Cooper, and two cats Piper and Millie. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and taking a million pictures and videos of her pets (one video even went viral).
