Integrated Healthcare at NorthShore

The goal of integrated healthcare is to improve overall health of patients through a team approach of both your primary provider and your behavioral health counselor in order to treat the physical problems while decreasing the mental health load at the same time. This can be done through lifestyle changes such as dealing with chronic pain conditions, parenting issues, family stresses, and illnesses that may be causing stress that in turn is also causing physical illness, i.e. digestion issues, insomnia, etc.

NorthShore Health Centers has several licensed clinical social workers at many of our locations who work closely with a board certified Psychiatrist and also NorthShore primary care providers help coordinate complete care for our patients.
