Patience started her medical career as an ICU nurse for twenty years. During this time, Patience felt that she needed to do more for her patients. Driven by her desire to help with preventative care and teach patients how to care for themselves, she continued on becoming a Nurse Practitioner. In 2022, she completed the Duke University Endocrine Specialty Training Program becoming board certified in Advanced Diabetes Management. With the completion of this program, Patience is able to assist patients with endocrine issues such as diabetes, thyroid disorders or other hormonal imbalances.
Patience is married to a supportive husband and has two great children. They also adore their two golden retrievers. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family and spending time outdoors.
