Dr. App aspired to become a physician since she was 10 years old. At the time, her 2-month-old brother suffered from hernias. Luckily, she had a neighbor, a female physician, who was caring enough to explain her brother’s condition along with the surgery he would have to have. Her counsel helped Megan greatly. She decided right then she wanted to study medicine and become a physician. She also grew up around medicine and health care because of her father, who was a family physician.
Dr. App is married and the oldest of 6 children. She has 11 nieces and nephews and loves to hike and travel.
