Christelle Deery earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Philippines. After passing the local licensure exam, she moved permanently to USA to begin a career in nursing. Deery got her start at St. Alexius Medical Center on the Cardiac Telemetry Unit and was there for three years. After that, she ventured into travel nursing and worked at several hospitals in the Chicagoland area and Northwest Suburbs, working in various units that included transplant, oncology, stepdown ICU and COVID. Deery also worked at Advocate South Suburban Hospital in the GI/Endoscopy lab.
Christelle is married with a toddler. During her free time, she likes to read, practice yoga and run.
As a nurse, Deery believes that the most rewarding part of her role is building relationships with her patients. She believes that to be trusted a person’s health journey is a privilege and by listening to her patients and empowering them with knowledge they can work together to achieve health goals.
