Elissa Affeld, became a Licensed Social Worker with the goal of being the support she once needed herself. This personal motivation guides her compassionate, client-centered approach, focused on creating a safe, welcoming environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.
Elissa is a devoted mother of four daughters and values the importance of teamwork, resilience, and connection. She enjoys playing softball and brings the same appreciation for collaboration into her work with clients. For self-care, Elissa incorporates a variety of art mediums, embracing creativity as a powerful tool for reflection, balance, and overall well-being.
Elissa is accepting new patients at the Portage location for Behavioral Health needs such as Medication-Assisted Treatment, Substance Abuse, Individual Counseling and more.
