Big Brother & Sister Workshop: Safe Ways to Help at Home

Do you have a 2 to 5-year-old that is about to be a big brother or sister? Join us for this fun workshop where your little ones will learn ways to prepare for a new baby and safe ways that they can help at home. There will be games, activities, refreshments, and each big brother and sister will get a certificate! Please have them bring their favorite stuffed animal or doll to class. You won’t want to miss this fun!

We will discuss how to identify signs and symptoms of diabetes and complications and how to take control of your diagnosis through self-management. Understanding things such as your A1C, blood sugar level goals, and why healthy eating and physical activity are important (as well as tips to get started), will remove some of the stress of living with diabetes and empower you to live the healthy lifestyle you deserve!
