Join us in August as we learn how to make healthy food choices as we embrace different cultural foods from around the world. Eating healthy doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy favorite foods from our childhood, but we can take those meals that “grandma used to make” and “healthy them up”! You will get to review some nutrition basics, the importance of protein, and the healthy side of carbs. Diabetic Diner will include a healthy recipe and sample to try before you try it at home! Light refreshments also provided.
