After receiving her nursing degree from Valparaiso University and working as a bedside nurse, Jessica became inspired to further her nursing career and become a Nurse Practitioner after being able to observe patient care from both sides. She was able to witness care from both sides of the bed after her father became terminally ill. She noticed a need for more caring and compassionate providers to listen and advocate for their patients.
Jessica and her husband Josh have been together for 14 years and have three amazing children, two dogs (Bronnie and Bo), two cats (Buster and Flufernutter) and a goldfish (Fred). Together, their house is always loud, chaotic, and full of love.
"As a nurse, we have the opportunity to heal the mind, soul, heart, and body of our patients. They may forget your name but they will never forget how you made them feel."
