Shawn Kroft, FNP-BC

Family Nurse Practitioner

Specialty: Family Practice

Shawn spent 12 years in several different nursing positions from floor nursing in the hospital, home and acute dialysis to adolescent behavioral health. She decided to become a nurse practitioner so she could better serve her patients.

Shawn has been married to her husband for over 30 years and they have been members of the Duneland community for the majority of their 30+ years together. They have two amazing sons who are grown now. Shawn loves spoiling her grandchildren (Charlotte and Theodore). She enjoys hiking, crocheting, reading, cooking, building things, sewing, gardening, sketching, and spending time with her family and friends.

"When I was working as a nursing assistant on an oncology unit, my nurse manager said to me, ‘If I know I have made a moment for a patient or their family member easier or better, then I have done my job,’ I have never forgotten that moment or comment."
