Sharon A. Smith, FNP

Family Nurse Practitioner

Specialty: Family Practice

Sharon began her career as a licensed practical nurse and after working in that position for 19 years, she decided to earn a degree in nursing. She did not stop advancing until she obtained her bachelor’s in nursing, her master’s in nursing, and then finished her Family Nurse Practitioner program.

Sharon always wanted to follow in her grandmother’s footsteps and work as a nurse. She decided to become a provider based on her desire to provide more personal and individual care to each patient. Her favorite thing about her profession is helping her patients leave feeling better and healthier than they did when they initially came for their appointment.

Sharon has two wonderful, grown sons and two handsome grandsons. She also has a dog named Lily who she has deemed “the cutest dog.” Sharon loves getting lost in a great book and/or TV series, finding new restaurants with friends.

"I am a nurturer at heart, and I like to fix things and make people better."
