Dr. Matthew J. Tipton, MD
I chose to become a physician in order to be a servant to my community. I feel as though it my duty to provide quality, evidenced based care to a community that needs and deserves the highest level of care.
Dr. Tipton is committed to the field of medicine to revitalize communities such as his hometown of Gary, IN. Through pathways laid out by role models, he was able to achieve his dream. His ultimate goal is to inspire young people in his community, and demonstrate to them that anything is possible.
Dr. Tipton’s family is deeply rooted in Northwest Indiana although he lives in Chicago with his soon-to-be wife, Dr. Cydney Bullock. He enjoys all types of activities with his fiancé. He is also a huge sports fan (Go Bulls/Bears/Sox!) and has a strong passion for hip-hop music.
