Mike Barrera, LCACA
Addiction counseling is very personal to me. As a provider, I strongly belief in treating the person as a whole and tackling the problem at its source in order to help my clients rebuild from the ground up.
Michael began working in the field of mental health in 2014, just before starting his graduate program in counseling. Since then, he has worked in residential, IOP, adult, and juvenile programs, at one point serving as interim clinical director. He is very excited to continue his counseling.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their crazy dog. He also likes to work out, go to the movies, and relax at home. Some of the things he’s most interested in are cars, the Bears, and Marvel movies.
